We started www.proofsets.net as a simpler site for collectors who simply collect US Proof & Mint Sets.  This site is esier to navigate than www.goldeneaglecoin.com because it has less products.

How long does it take to process my order?

Generally orders are shipped 5-7 days from the time that the funds become good. During peak volume periods, shipping may extend to 10-14 business days. Some orders may require additional processing time due to their content. Examples of this would be large coin lists or complete sets that take time to be put together correctly.To prevent processing delays, be sure to provide your cardholder name, billing address and telephone number, exactly as they are listed with your card issuer.Please call us if you have special shipping needs.

How is my package shipped?

All packages are shipped via USPS insured mail and are insured for their FULL VALUE. Packages under $100 are sent via First Class Mail. Packages from $100 - $2000 are sent via Priority Mail. Packages of higher value will be sent Registered Mail.

Will I receive tracking info?

Yes, once your order is shipped you will receive notification including your USPS tracking information. Packages can also be tracked using our ORDER STATUS system.

What are your shipping charges?


To check the status of your existing order visit the Order Status section and enter your order number.

  • Most packages shipped via USPS and are insured for their full value.
  • Packages must be signed for.
  • The USPS will attempt to deliver items up to three times before returning them to Golden Eagle Coins.
  • All orders are shipped via First Class Mail/Priority Mail.
  • Oversize/Heavy items will be shipped via Fed/Ex Ground
  • If your order total is greater than $2000 then orders are sent via Registered Mail.

Shipping Rates are based on total amount of order as follows:

ORDER TOTAL $0-$99 $100-$499 $500+
SHIPPING AMOUNT* $4.95 $9.95 $14.95

*Shipping Rates do not include processing fees for Bullion Purchases.

The bullion prices on our site are at cash discounted rates. This means that if you choose to pay by Check, Money Order, Bank Wire or Cashiers Check you will pay only the cash discounted rate. If you choose to pay by credit card or Paypal these rates will not apply and the discount of between 2-3% will be removed and added to your shipping costs. This is not an additional fee, but you are opting not to take advantage of the cash discounted rate.

NOTE: Shipping charges are added when you complete the check out process. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

What is your return/cancellation policy?

We want you to be happy with all of your purchases from Golden Eagle Coins. If you’re not happy with an item received from us, just let us know within 7 days, send the product back in its original packaging when we instruct you to do so, and we’ll send you a refund or exchange the product for one of matching value. This offer even extends to bullion and certified coins though, on such items, the buyer may be required, by Golden Eagle Coins, to pay any market loss incurred on returns plus a restocking fee. Any market gain will belong to Golden Eagle Coins. If you choose to exchange the item, we reserve the right to either find an acceptable replacement or refund your money.


A standard 5% restocking fee is applied to all returned credit card orders.

Selling Your Coins

How do I sell my coins to Golden Eagle Coins?

 

1. Call us at 800-735-1311 for current prices

2. You will be issued a confirmation number.

3. Ship your package to us

We recommend that you ship your package via USPS Registered Mail (which includes insurance) for your protection

4. Include a detailed packing slip and the confirmation number you receive from us.

When will I receive my payment?


When we receive your package we will typically send your payment via check within 3-5 business days via First Class Mail. If you need to arrange other payment arrangements please call 800-735-1311.

Can I cancel my order?
Generally, we operate on a good faith policy. Once you have been issued a confirmation number, all prices are locked-in whether buying from us or selling to us. A credit cards number may be asked for before issuing a confirmation number. This usually applies to Bullion-related sales. Should you elect to cancel your order, you must do so during normal business hours of 10:00 – 5:00 EST Monday – Friday. All cancellations are subject to our market loss policy plus a $35.00 cancellation fee. You must call us at 800-735-1311 to cancel an order. At that time, if any market loss to us has occurred, it will be calculated and added to the $35.00 cancellation fee. Any market gain on cancellations shall remain the property of Golden Eagle Coins.
